Science Fair Invigilator 🔥🔥

On 20th October 2023 we get the chance to attend the science Fair program of Trivandrum South Sub district level at Govt Girls Higher secondary school Karamana.We are in charge of Science Research project. It was a great program 

 Science fairs play a vital role in school education for several reasons:

Hands-On Learning: Science fairs encourage students to engage in hands-on, experiential learning. They get to apply scientific concepts and principles to real-world experiments, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

Critical Thinking: Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they design and execute their projects. They learn to formulate hypotheses, conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions.

Creativity and Innovation: Science fairs promote creativity and innovation. Students have the freedom to choose their topics and experiment designs, encouraging them to think outside the box.

SFS PRESENTATION @ TRIVANDRUM COLLECTORATE

On 19 october 2023 , we got an oppurtunity to participate in an event organised by STUDENTS FOR SOCIETY under the guidance of DISTRICT NEERURAVA MISSION . We need to submit the report of the project for the conservation of PULAVANNIYOORKONAM lake in Trivandrum . We named it as VINJANA SAROVAR . Also put forward the proposal to establish an open library near it. The entire event was happened at Trivandrum collectorate .It was a great event and I got an opportunity to present my ideas infront of eminent personalities. Water, a fundamental element for all life on Earth, covers more than two-thirds of our planet's surface. However, it may come as a surprise that only a small fraction of this water is freshwater, and an even smaller percentage is readily accessible for our use. With an ever-increasing global population and the pressures of climate change, water scarcity is becoming a pressing issue in many parts of the world. Let's delve into why water conservation is so crucial: Preserving Ecosystems: Our rivers, lakes, and wetlands are not just a source of drinking water; they are vital ecosystems that support diverse flora and fauna. Conserving water helps protect these ecosystems and maintains the delicate balance of nature. Sustainable Agriculture: Agriculture is a major consumer of water. By using water-efficient farming practices, we can ensure that there is enough water for both our agricultural needs and the natural world. Mitigating Droughts: Droughts have become more frequent and severe in many regions. By conserving water, we can better withstand the impact of droughts and ensure a stable food supply. Reducing Energy Consumption: Water treatment and distribution require a significant amount of energy. By using water more efficiently, we can reduce our energy consumption and mitigate climate change. Preserving Human Health: Access to clean water is essential for human health. By conserving water, we can ensure that everyone has access to safe drinking water. So, HOW CAN WE CONTRIBUTE TO WATER CONSERVATION IN OUR DAILY LIVES? Fix Leaks: Repairing leaks in our homes, whether they are from faucets, pipes, or toilets, can save significant amounts of water. Use Water-Efficient Appliances: When purchasing appliances like washing machines or dishwashers, choose water-efficient models that consume less water. Be Mindful of Outdoor Water Usage: Use a broom instead of a hose to clean driveways, water plants during cooler parts of the day to reduce evaporation, and install rain barrels to collect rainwater for irrigation. Reduce Wasteful Habits: Small changes in behaviour, such as turning off the tap while brushing your teeth or taking shorter showers, can make a big difference. Kerala Sports Day Celebration @ G.C.T.E

Kerala Sports Day Celebration held on October 13, 2023, at the Government College of Teachers Education, Thycaud, was a vibrant and memorable event. This event featured a variety of activities, including poster making contest and Presentation on G.V. Raja History.

One of the highlights of the event was the Poster Making Contest. The participants showcased their artistic talents and creativity through their posters, focusing on themes related to sports and culture. The posters were not only visually stunning but also conveyed powerful messages about the importance of sports in Kerala.

We are pleased to announce that our team achieved remarkable success in the Poster Making Contest, winning the third prize. This recognition is a testament to the dedication and artistic skills of our participants.

Another significant aspect of the event was a presentation about the history of GV Raja, a prominent figure in the world of sports in Kerala. The presentation provided insights into GV Raja's contributions to the development of sports in the region and celebrated his legacy. This educational and informative session added depth to the event and allowed participants to connect with the rich sporting history of Kerala.

In conclusion, the Kerala Sports Day Celebration at Government College of Teachers Education, Thycaud, was a day filled with excitement, creativity, and a deep appreciation for sports and culture. We are proud of our third prize win in the Poster Making Contest and the opportunity to learn about the influential figure, GV Raja. SCERT Seminar About Preschool Education and Education of Elderly

It was great honour that we get a chance to participate in the SCERT Seminar on 9 October 2023 at Shishak Sadan about the Topic Preschool Education and Education of the Elderly.The seminar was inaugurated by Honorable Education Minister V. Sivan Kutty. So many eminent personalities talk about the Topic.I very glad that I got a chance to participate in programme and also get chance to present my opinion on the stage.

Early Development: Preschool education plays a crucial role in a child's early development. It helps children develop essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills that form the foundation for their future learning.

1. School Readiness: It prepares children for formal schooling by teaching them basic skills, such as language, math, and social interactions. This can lead to improved academic performance in later grades.

2. Social Skills: Preschool fosters social skills, including cooperation, communication, and empathy, which are vital for building healthy relationships and functioning in society.

3. Cognitive Growth: It stimulates a child's intellectual growth, encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and creativity.

4. Equal Opportunities: Preschool can help bridge the educational gap, providing children from diverse backgrounds with a more level playing field when they enter elementary school.

Education of the Elderly:

Gandhi Jayanti Sevana Varam at G.C.T.E Thycaud on October 7, 2023, was a day of meaningful service, cleanliness, and delectable food. The event commenced with a cleaning program within the college premises, followed by a delightful feast featuring Kappa and Chammanthi.

The day began with a cleaning program, aligning with the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi's philosophy of cleanliness and selfless service. Staff and students came together to ensure that the college campus was spotless. This initiative reflected the college's commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

 After a productive cleaning session, everyone gathered for a scrumptious meal. Kappa, a popular Kerala dish made from tapioca, and Chammanthi, a traditional chutney, were served. These dishes are not only delicious but also hold cultural significance in Kerala's culinary tradition. It was a delightful experience for all the participants, combining the joy of good food with the principles of simplicity and sustainability that Mahatma Gandhi advocated.

Gandhi Jayanti Sevana Varam served as a reminder of Mahatma Gandhi's principles of simplicity, cleanliness, and community service. The event successfully brought together the college community to engage in a collective effort for a cleaner environment and culminated in a satisfying meal shared among friends and colleagues, strengthening bonds and promoting unity.

On 5th October 2023 we  the beloved students of Govt.College of Teachers Education  Thycaud celebrated our Talent Day at General Hall .Celebration showcased an array of talents, and I had the privilege to be a part of various performances throughout the day. The festivities kicked off with an energetic group dance, where our team showcased synchronized moves and left the audience in awe.

The Multitalented show brought together a fusion of music and art, highlighting the diverse skills of our students. It was a mesmerizing display of artistic expression that left the audience spellbound.

One of the most impactful moments of the day was the skit about Suicide Prevention. It delivered a powerful message, raising awareness about this crucial issue and emphasizing the importance of supporting those in need.

The highlight of the event was the remarkable performance by Jinsiya, who wowed the audience with a mesmerizing display of Silambattam, a traditional Indian martial art. Her skill and agility left everyone amazed and applauding.

Abhirami's performance was equally exceptional, as she sang her own poem, adding a personal touch to her rendition that resonated with the audience.

The event was not just about performances but also about engaging the audience. Various games were organized, including "Passing Dance" that had everyone on their feet, and the "English translation of Malayalam movie songs" game, which tested the linguistic skills of the participants and entertained the crowd.

The entire program was a full-day affair, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to enjoy and participate in the festivities. The dedication and hard work put in by the students and the organizing committee were evident in the seamless execution of the event.
