The Kerala State Science Fair serves as a crucial platform for students to showcase their scientific talents, fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation. It encourages learning beyond textbooks, promotes scientific thinking, and cultivates a passion for research and experimentation among participants. The fair plays a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of scientists and problem solvers, contributing to the overall development of scientific aptitude in the state.
This year theme was Science and Technology for Scoiety. I got the opportunity to see plenty of projects with innovative ideas. The important ones are Making napkin and pad using cellulose from Banana tree and making fire retardent painting using wooden ash and banana leaf ash. Also there was project making boifuel from Jack fruit.
