Thiruvananthapuram was a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent,
showcasing the diverse artistic endeavours of our students. Held on 21,
23rd February 2024, the event brought together students, faculty, and staff
to appreciate and participate in various forms of artistic expression.
The fest was named “Gaza” a symbolic gesture of standing in solidarity
with the innocent victims of war, particularly the children who are often
the most vulnerable and affected by violence.
The festival spanned two days and featured a diverse range of competition.
Students from different departments, houses participated enthusiastically,
contributing to the event’s success.

st year B.Ed. and M. Ed students were divided into four houses: red, blue,
green, and yellow. Competition took place among the four houses.
The fest started with Literary festival that spanned for a week. Essay, short
story, poetry, cartoon, collage, drawing, colouring competitions were held the
week prior to 23rd. 2hrs in the noon was allotted to conduct the literary events. It
ended with a session by Dr Rajesh Puthumana (Teacher, stage and voice artist)
on the topic CONCEPT, RETENTION AND ATTITUDE).
Literary events were story writing, Poetry writing, Essay writing, Elocution and Recitation in all the five languages ( Malayalam, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Tamil ). There were Competition like Pencil Drawing, Water colour , Collage, Cartoon. Then stage events were Light music, Classical Music, Folk song, Mono act, Mime, Tablo, Thiruvathira, Clasaical Dance, Fancy Dress, Cinematic Dance, Mimicry. Amal R become Kalaprathibha, Gauri Nandana become Kalathilakam, Keerthana U Krishnan become Sarga Prathibha and Jibin J S become Chithra Prathibha. Also Green house won the competition.
