Then there were a talk by Dr.Pradeep T , Professor of IIT Madras. He Pointed out the necessity of Innovation in Higher Education by comparing it with Global University like Oxford University.Then He presented the idea of of Innovation by stressing the key ideas like Autonomy, Quality, Inclusiveness.The only Investment we need is vision and freedom.We need to give opportunity to Alumini to engage in the growth of Institutions.
According to him University are the growth engines for a developing country.Kerala has so many opportunity including sustainability ,Responsible Tourism , Educating Globe , Medical Technology Success etc..We have a huge resources of startups.We need Kerala Institute of science, Technology and Innovation for the better tomorrow.Kerala has the chance to be first zero carbon state.Then there was a talk by Dr. Shyam Menon, Retired Professor of Delhi University.
He Pointed out the need to promote more private universities in Kerala.Based on Various Higher Education commission report he Pointed out the need for Rationalisation of fee structure and Public - Private Partnership in the field of research and other activities.Several University in India orginated From the Private firms like VishwaBharati .
